When mobilizing for health, it’s important to increase your impact.
One of the best ways to increase your impact is to do more than one thing in more than one place. Implementing more than one strategy in more than one place increases the power of a health initiative by reaching diverse community members across settings, including schools, workplaces, early care centers, health care systems, and the built environment.
When your community plans for multiple strategies, consider the following:
What strategies, programs, or initiatives are already in place and
how can you build on
- Can you choose strategies that complement each other?
- Can you choose strategies in multiple settings?
By considering how you can align with existing strategies or lift up existing efforts, implementing multiple strategies in multiple places is more feasible.
